Hidden multi-touch feature on HTC Touch Diamond?

Cool. Looks like the HTC Touch Diamond (and presumably the HTC Touch Diamond Pro) can actually do multi-touch. Not only multi-touch on the screen itself, but all the way down around the navi-wheel and buttons. The feature is revealed when using HTC’s Nav Debug Tool but so far doesn’t have any practical use beyond simple [...]

HTC Diamond has Multitouch

Multitouch is included on the HTC Diamond. Yes, you heard me right. And even though this feature has been conveniently left off of the product’s packaging, it’s there all the same. When you use the program NavDbgTool, you will be able to experience the device’s biggest secret. Tandem touching. In fact, the entire front case supports [...]

While HTC's Touch Pro and Touch Diamond do not have multi-touch out of the box, wmpoweruser.com is reporting that the latest devices from the firm are in fact multi-touch ready. An application, Nav Debug Tool by HTC shows a capacitive touch navigation wheel and screen that can track two independent finger movements. This is good news as perhaps a future firmware will be able to support and exploit...

HTC Touch Diamond/Pro multi-touch illustrated

Here's a video that illustrates the multi-touch capabilities of the HTC Touch Diamond and Touch Pro phones. This is not part of the feature list of these phones but according to Engadget it's present in HTC's own debug application. While multi-touch input might be all the rage in handhelds and laptop trackpads at the moment, alas, it's not on the feature list for HTC's latest Touch Diamond and Touch...

Multi-Touch anyone ?

What is the one thing that iphone users brag about a lot? Multi-Touch which enable them to perform features like pinch zoom in and out. Well if this video has got anything to say about it we are going to get this feature too, well @ least the HTC Diamond / Touch Pro will get something to say about it. Using an application called Nav Debug Tool by HTC , the video shows that the whole front of the device...
